All dressing rooms are equipped with showers, sinks and lighted makeup mirrors.

Loading
The Sottile Theatre's loading zone is available for use by theatre lessees on a space-available basis from Load-In Date to Load-Out Date. Permits are available through the theatre director and must be properly displayed in all vehicles parked in the loading zone. Vehicles parked in the loading zone without a valid permit properly displayed will be subject to ticketing and towing at the vehicle owner's expense.

Rigging System

Type
Hemp system

Line sets
20 (average) moveable line sets with underhung headblocks. (10 sets for heavy loads, truss supported; 10 sets for light loads, wood grid supported.)

Rigging Capacities

  • "Underhung" system attached to roof trusses: Line sets at 12inches o/c (26 max), 750 lb. each (5 @ 50 lb.)
  • "Deck Mounted" system at wooden grid: 10 line sets, 425 lb. each. (5 @ 85 lb. or 4 @ 106 lb.)

These two systems can operate concurrently at full capacity.

Vertical Load Capacities of Fly Grid

  • 28 psf uniform load. (Can be concurrent with "underhung" rigging. Cannot with "deck-mounted" rigging.
  • 320 lb. point load on wooden deck. (Must be applied to two adjacent slats.)
  • 900 lb. point load on joist, any location.
